More than 2 million people died until now all over the world after developing complications caused by COVID-19. The United States reported the largest number of deaths so far – 398,000, IPN reports.
Over 207,000 people died in Brazil, almost 152,000 in India, almost 138,000 in Mexico.
The death toll from COVID-19 in the UK stands at 86,000, in Italy at 80,800, in France at 69,300.
The number of confirmed infections with SARS-CoV-2 in the over 200 countries affected by the virus totals over 93.6 million.
China, where the pandemic started at the end of 2019, until now recorded 87,900 cases of COVID-19 and less than 5,000 deaths.
Moldova by now has got almost 151,600 infections with the novel coronavirus, while the death toll associated with it rose to 3,211.
