More than 200 places to study at universities in Romania, intended for Moldovan young people, remained unfilled after the first admission round. Those who weren’t admitted have one more chance to get a scholarship to study over the Prut. They must submit again an application for the available places, IPN reports.
According to the information published on the website of the Ministry of Education, Research, Youth and Sport of Romania, most of the places remained unoccupied at the University of Petrosani, while the least at the universities in Arad, Bacau, and Galati.
In order to apply for them, the Moldovans must examine the list of universities and the specialties where there are available places and download the application form from the Ministry’s website. The forms can be sent by the fax number 040 21 312 4904.
Only persons who earlier submitted applications to the Romanian consulates in Cahul, Chisinau and Balti can take part in the second admission round.
For the 2013-2014 academic year, the Government of Romania offered the Moldovan young people 5,500 places to study at Romanian education institutions.
