Over 20,000 trees and shrubs to be planted in Chisinau Saturday

Over 20,000 trees and shrubs will be planted in Chisinau on Saturday as part of the National Greening Day, Info-Prim Neo reports. Mayor Dorin Chirtoaca will plant trees alongside the personnel of the City Hall and the City Council's divisions in the park on Trifan Balta Street in Telecentru neighborhood. Greening efforts will also be organized in Ciocana district, in Milescu-Spatarul Park and Riscani Park, and along the streets Vadul lui Voda, Mircea cel Batrin and Voluntarilor. In Centru district, trees will be planted in Valea Trandafirilor Park, near the area of the Sciusev Estate. In Riscani district, the campaign will involve the park on Mircesti street, Lunca-Gistei Park, Riscani Park, and the streets Tudor Vladimirescu, Studentilor, and Albisoara. In Botanica district, trees will be planted in Muncesti Park, Valea Trandafirilor Park, and along the boulevards Dacia and Decebal. In Buiucani districts, trees and shrubs will be planted in Pruncul Park, Butoias Park, La Izvor Park, Alunelul Park, and Nistrean Park.
