After season flowers and decorative bushes were planted in Chisinau in spring, the local authorities decided to now plant over 20,000 rose bushes, IPN reports.
In the ordinary meeting of officials of Chisinau services and divisions, vice director of the Green Areas Association Galina Leahu said a part of the flowers planted earlier became dry and should be renewed.
Referring to the National Greening Day, which is celebrated on the last Saturday of October, Galina Leahu stated that more than 14,000 bushes and trees will be planned in all the parks of Chisinau on this occasion.
