The Government is preparing the launch of the “First House 4” program that is intended for private sector employees. According to Prime Minister Pavel Filip, as part of this program the state will offer compensations of up to 50% of the home loan. The compensations will depend on the size of the beneficiary’s salary.

Currently, the state covers up to 50% of the loan for employees of budget-funded institutions under the “First House 2” program. As many as 260 persons have benefited from such concessions so far.

Under the “First House 3” program, the families with children benefit from assistance in buying the first home. The state pays 10% of the price of the home for families with one child,  25% – for families with two children, 50% – for families with three children and fully pays the price for families with four and more children, with the family paying only the interest. Over 520 families with children benefitted from this program until now.

The governmental program “First House” was launched in March 2018.
