The interim Cabinet on July 22 approved the decision to provide the overdue sum of 1.1 million lei intended as assistance for the farmers from Dubasari district who cannot cultivate their land located beyond the Rybnitsa-Tiraspol road, on the left side of the Nistru River, IPN reports.
Earlier, the Government approved the allocation of subsidies of over 10 million lei to 215 entitled farmers. Later, the local public authorities submitted an additional list of persons who didn’t benefit from such assistance. The sum approved today is designed for these.
Acting Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Victor Osipov said the farmers from Dubasari district are in a critical situation and the authorities should be ready to take assistance measures. He called on the executive to prepare these measures beforehand.
