More than 19,000 students will take Baccalaureate exams this year. The National Exams Commission approved the list of the 93 Baccalaureate centers. Thirty-one of these are situated in the municipality of Chisinau. By one Baccalaureate center will work in 16 districts, IPN reports.
Of the over 19,000 candidates, 2,480 are students who failed to pass the previous sessions.
As many as 8,800 students will take Baccalaureate exams in exact sciences, over 9,400 in humanities, 537 in arts, while 314 in sports.
By the language of learning, 15,441 candidates are students who studied in Romanian, while 3,623 are students who studied in Russian, English, Bulgarian, Gagauz or Ukrainian.
The Baccalaureate session will take place during June 2 – 20. The schedule of exams was approved by the Ministry of Education. The graded test papers will be verified at four national assessment centers in the municipality of Chisinau as from June 2. The results of the exams taken during the main session will be posted at Baccalaureate centers on June 26.
