More than 170 apartment buildings in Râşcani district of Chisinau are now not supplied with heat and hot water following a pipeline accident that occurred on November 16.
Contacted by IPN, director general of the heat supplier “Termoelectrica” Veaceslav Eni said a pipe with the diameter of 800 mm that supplies heat to Râșcani district and a part of Ciocana district yielded. Over 270 blocks of flats remain without heat and hot eater.
On November 17, the dwellers of the blocks situated in Ciocana were reconnected to the supply through an alternative hot water and heat supply system in several hours. Veaceslav Eni said the apartments buildings in Râşcani will restart to be supplied with heat by this evening.
