Over 170 acts adopted during recent parliamentary session

During the 29 sittings of the spring-summer session of Parliament, of February – July, the lawmakers passed 171 legal acts. Of these, 101 acts were adopted in the first reading, IPN reports.

During the session, MPs of the Party of Socialists were absent 77 times, 14 times of which without a reason. The Democratic lawmakers had 47 absences, being the faction with the largest number of unjustified absences – 24.

The Communist MPs had 43 absences, six of which were unjustified, the Liberal MPs – 26 absences, 11 of which unfounded, while the Liberal-Democratic lawmakers - 22 absences, eight of which unjustified.

Among the unaffiliated MPs, Irina Vlah was absent from the sittings 11 times, while Iurie Leanca – three times, two times of which being on leave, while one time being absent unjustifiably.

The parliamentary session closed on July 31.
