Over 10 million lei will be distributed to ministries from the 2018 state budget for covering redundancy costs following the structural reorganization of the central public authorities. A decision to this effect was approved by the Cabinet on July 4, IPN reports.
The money is intended for paying redundancy costs and for compensating the employees laid off as a result of the reorganization process for the unused annual leave.
The 2018 state budget includes 35 million lei that is to be distributed to the central public authorities for covering the redundancy costs following the structural reorganization. A sum of 2.3 million lei was allocated earlier for covering such costs.
