More than 10,000 people voted at polling stations in the municipality of Balti by 11 a.m. This is over 10% of the voting-age citizens, IPN reports.
In Balti, the female voters represented 55.58%, while the male voters – 44.42%. The people aged between 18 and 25 were less active, representing only 3.19% of those who voted. The voters aged between 66 and 75 and between 56 and 65 were the most active ones, with 26.14% and 26.11% respectively.
According to the Central Election Commission, over 347,000 people voted all over the country by 11 a.m. This is 12.58% of the voting-eligible population.
Voting end at 9 p.m. The threshold for general local elections is ¼ of the voting-age citizens.
