More than 10,000 residents of Chisinau gathered together for the March 31 spring cleanup initiated by the municipal authorities, IPN reports.
According to the Chisinau City Hall, they cleaned the parks and the areas inside yards of apartment buildings, washed the main arteries of the city and gathered garbage from the banks of the Byk River.
The process involved most of the functionaries of the municipal enterprises, services and institutions.
