Over 1,000 students will get “10” in Baccalaureate foreign language exam without sitting test

More than 1,000 twelfth graders will receive the grade of “10” ex officio in the Baccalaureate foreign language exam. These students passed internationally recognized exams to have their knowledge of foreign languages certified, IPN reports.

According to the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research, the number is by over 200 students higher than last year.

The 2019 Baccalaureate session will take place during June 4-21. Over 17,700 candidates will sit exams, approximately 2,500 of whom are students who failed exams the previous sessions.

The twelfth graders will take the exams at 92 Baccalaureate centers, 30 of which will be in the municipality of Chisinau, while 62 in other localities of the country.

The test papers will be graded during June 4-24. The results will be posted at the Baccalaureate centers on June 26.

The regulations concerning the national Baccalaureate exams and the schedule of exams will be available on the website of the National Agency for Curriculum and Assessment www.aee.edu.md.
