The Transnistrian administration provided 1,080 new places in kindergartens. However, the demand is higher than the supply and there are about 2,000 children waiting to go to kindergarten, IPN reports.
According to “Novostipmr” Agency, there were opened three new kindergartens – two in Tiraspol town and one in Rybnitsa town. As many as 27 new groups were opened in the working kindergartens. The construction works in another two kindergartens in Tiraspol are close to an end. There will be available by 100 places at each of them.
Currently, the kindergartens of Tiraspol provide places only for 80% of the children written on the lists. The Transnistrian administration plans to eliminate this shortcoming by the start of 2015.
