Over 100 Moldovan couples will get married on 09.09.09

More than 100 couples from Moldova will register their marriages on Wednesday, September 9 – 09.09.09. In Chisinau, the Registry Office and the trading center Shopping MallDova will organize the Wedding of the Year event, where there will be performed the marriages of 29 couples. “We continue the family promotion activities by organizing surprising and important events,” division head at the Registry Office Irina Manole has told Info-Prim Neo. “Forty-eight applications for registering marriages in Chisinau on this lucky day have been filed by September 4, while in other settlements – 90 more,” Irina Manole said. Different economic entirety will be involved in the festivity in Chisinau. They will give presents to the newly married couples, said Irina Ghelburg, PR manager of Shopping MallDova. “The event will include elements of show. Dancers will perform dances, while Nelly Ciobanu will sing “The Moldovan Round Dance”. There will be held a draw to choose the couple that will go to Turkey for their honeymoon. Also, Shopping MallDova will allow the young persons to make purchases worth 1,000 lei in the mall. Last year, there were submitted 480 applications for registering the marriages on 08.08.08, 250 out of which in the municipality of Chisinau. Fifty-nine couples got married on that day in the square of the National Opera House.
