The Special Representative of the German OSCE Chairperson-in-Office for the Transnistrian Settlement Process Cord Meier-Klodt will visit Chisinau and Tiraspol between 15 and 17 February. The official will have meetings with representatives of both of the sides, IPN reports, quoting a media advisory of the OSCE.
On 15 February, Ambassador Meier-Klodt will meet in Chisinau with Prime Minister Pavel Filip; Speaker of Parliament Andrian Candu; Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration and Chief Negotiator Gheorghe Balan and Foreign Minister Andrei Galbur.
On 16 February, the Special Representative will meet in Tiraspol with leader Yevgeny Shevchuk, Speaker of the Supreme Soviet Vadim Krasnoselsky and Chief Negotiator Vitaly Ignatiev.
During his visit, Ambassador Meier-Klodt will also have meetings with representatives of OSCE participating States accredited in Moldova.
