Orhei to host Assembly of Orthodox Youth from Bessarabia and Romania

The Orthodox Youth from Bessarabia and Romania will gather together on July 2, in Orhei, to strengthen the spiritual and cultural ties. The event will begin at 9:00 a.m. with the Divine Liturgy at the Church of Saint Basil of Poiana Mărului, which will be officiated by His Eminence Peter, Archbishop of Chisinau, Metropolitan Bishop of Bessarabia and Exarch of the Territories, IPN reports.

After the Divine Liturgy, the young people will participate in various activities staged at “Ion Luca Caragiale” Theoretical High School in Orhei. The agenda includes a spiritual conference entitled “Gifts of Youth” which will take place between 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. Educational workshops (The Romanian language and church printouts; Declared values and assumed values; Patriotic and sacred music; The Hora and folk dance) will take place between 2:.00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. At 4:30 p.m., the March of Orthodox Youth will set off and will go to the Monument of Prince Vasile Lupu. A cultural and festive event will be held at 5:00 p.m.
