The Orhei Court rejected the application filed by the Party “Acton and Solidarity” (PAS) by which the party demanded to annul the elections in Jora de Mijloc. The court validated the term in office of the newly elected mayor Marina Tauber, who is the deputy head of the Shor Party, IPN reports.
“The court decided to reject the application submitted by the Party “Acton and Solidarity” against the Jora de Mijloc District Electoral al Council. The legality of the new local mayoral elections in Jora de Mijloc, Orhei, was confirmed and the term in office of the elected mayor Marina Tauber was validated,” said Vladimir Fiodorov, jurist of the Shor Party.
The Party Action and Solidarity demanded to annul the results of the mayoral elections that were held in Jora de Mijloc commune of Orhei district on May 20 for the reason that gross and unprecedented violations of the legislation were committed in the voting process there. But the Shor Party spent at least 294 505 lei, according to the estimates of Promo-LEX.
