Parliament passed in the second reading a bill concerning the conferring of orders and medals posthumously, IPN reports.
Thus, the Oder of the Republic, the Order “Stefan cel Mare”, the Order “Loyalty to the Motherland”, classes I, II and III, the Labor Glory Order, the Civic Merit Order, the Medal “Mihai Eminescu”, and the Medal “Nicolae Testemitanu” can be awarded posthumously too.
Within three months of the coming into force of this law, the Government is to adjust its normative documents to it.
