Acting mayor general of Chisinau Silvia Radu made an order to maintain public order on the day of the local referendum on the dismissal of the mayor. Under the order, the sale of alcoholic beverages and holding of gatherings within 100 meters of polling places are banned on November 19, IPN reports.
The head of the Trade, Public Food and Services Division Marcel Zambitski and deputy chief of the Chisinau Police Silviu Musuc will be responsible for the observance of the order.
The Central Election Commission ordered to establish 307 polling places for the local referendum on the dismissal of the mayor general of Chisinau.
