Orange code advisory for wind issued for March 26

Weather forecasters issued a yellow and orange code warning for wind for March 26. The northwestern wind is expected to intensify from 15-20 m/s to 21-23 m/s in most parts of the country, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The orange code for wind covers the districts of Briceni, Soroca, Floresti, Ungheni, Calarasi, Straseni, Anenii-Noi and the city of Chisinau. The yellow code applies to the rest of the country.
Victoria Moisei, engineer coordinator of the State Hydrometeorology Service, said that the advisory may be extended for March 27.
The temperature will decrease by about 10 degrees Celsius, but it will grow warmer again on March 29 and 30.
The orange code advisory is issued when the weather conditions pose a real danger and there are expected such dangerous phenomena as heavy storms, hail, frost and floods that can negatively affect the socioeconomic activities and cause significant damage and victims.
