Orange code advisory for bad weather

Forecasters issued an orange code warning for difficult elements for January 27-28. There will be heavy snow and sleet and even snowstorms with snowdrift in parts, IPN reports.

According to the State Hydrometeorological Service, a southern cyclone will influence the weather in the period. The northern wind is expected to intensify to 20 m/s. A layer of ice will form on the roads.

On January 27, daytime temperatures will oscillate between 0 and -5 degrees Celsius, while nighttime temperatures will drop to -6 degrees Celsius. On the weekend, the temperatures will vary between -1 and +2 degrees Celsius during the day and will fall to -9 degrees Celsius at night.
