Those who want to study medicine can find answers to the questions they have from the administration of the State University of Medicine and Pharmaceutics “Nicolae Testemitanu” within the Open Doors Day. The event, staged on April 25, is designed for those who want to find out more about the studies and admission at this institution, IPN reports.
The University’s rector Ion Ababii said the event is intended for high school and college graduates who want to enroll at this institution as well as for their parents.
They teach in four languages at “Nicolae Testemitanu” University, namely Romanian, Russian, English, and French. The program of studies lasts for six years in general medicine and public health and for five years at the facilities of pharmacy and dentistry.
Those who will come to the university today will visit the Information Center “Infomedica” of the Scientific Medical Library. Ion Ababii said one of the most popular destinations is the Museum of Human Anatomy, where the future students will see unique exhibits that will be afterward used in the teaching process.
The admission plan for 2015-2016 is 695 students on budget-funded and contract places. The dentistry students pay the highest tuition fee. In the new academic year, this can be 30,000 lei.
