One-year-old gets poisoned by mushrooms

A girl of only one from Truseni village was hospitalized with mushroom poisoning on Monday, June 14. Anatol Proca, coordinating doctor at the Chisinau Ambulance Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that the mother gave the child mushroom stew and ate herself. They both poisoned. The woman was taken to Saint Trinity Hospital, while the girl to the Mother and Child Center for detox. A 27-year-old man was admitted to the hospital with mudroom poisoning the same day. A man aged 19 fell off the roof of the former cultural home of the plant “Signal”, from a height of about 4-5 meters. He was taken to the Emergency Hospital with wound in the parietal region and a concussion. A man aged 30 from Cricova town cut his veins open in order to kill himself, while a 23-year-old woman from Chisinau took pills for the same purpose. Another woman, 45, drank shampoo while under the influence. A 45-year-old woman was stabbed by her partner in the thorax and abdomen on Tuesday morning. She was rushed to the Emergency Hospital. During the last 24 hours, the Chisinau ambulance teams responded to 824 calls, dealing with 64 cases of acute viral infection, 85 cases of trauma, 2 heart attacks and 12 strokes.
