One person killed and nine injured in Tuesday's traffic accidents

A man was killed, while another one was seriously injured in a road accident near Slobozia-Mare village of Cahul district on Tuesday, March 16. A woman aged 82 was admitted to the reanimatology section of the Chisinau Emergency Hospital after she was struck by a car on Pushkin St. A man aged 70 was hit by a truck when he was jaywalking. He suffered a cranial-cerebral trauma, concussion and other injuries. The seven road accidents that happened in Moldova on Tuesday resulted in one death and nine persons injured. The traffic police identified 74 speeding drivers and 52 drivers traveling with the lights off.
