One of the police officers who were involved in the road accident on Muncești St in Chisinau died in the hospital. The information was confirmed for IPN by the spokeswoman for the Emergency Medicine Institute Dorina Arsene.
The accident happened last Sunday. The policeman and a mate of his were travelling by a Toyota car. This collided with a trolleybus when changing lanes. The impact was so serious that an extrication team was necessary to take the occupants of the car out.
