One more party to field candidate for Chisinau mayor

The Party of Law and Justice (PLJ), headed by Gen. Nicolae Alexei will propose its own candidate for the office of Chisinau Mayor. Dumitru Osipov, the executive president of the party told Info-Prim Neo that PLJ is currently examining two options: the leader of the party, Nicolae Alexei, and Valentina Tapis, the head of the Chisinau Ecologic Agency. The final decision will be approved by the PLJ National Council which will convene in several days. According to Osipov, the main problems of the city are the corruption and bureaucracy, the settlement of which will become the priority of the future mayor. At the moment, CECMC registered 10 candidates for the office of Chisinau mayor. These are Veaceslav Iordan, the candidate of the Party of Communists; Ion Mereuta on behalf of the Humanist Party; Leonid Bujor, supported by “Moldova Noastra” Allaince; Vladimir Filat, Democrat Party; Dorin Chirtoaca, Liberal Party; Zinaida Zorin, supported by the Conservative Party; Alexandru Corduneanu, the candidate of People’s Christian Democrat Party; Valentin Krylov, Electoral Bloc “Patria-Rodina-Ravnopravie”; Eduard Musuc, Social democrat Party and Corneliu Ciurea, on behalf of the Social Liberal Party. Also, Viatalia Pavlicenco submitted the necessary documents on behalf of the National Liberal Party, but she was not registered yet.
