The period during which the Transnistrian economic entities registered or not registered with the Public Services Agency and the institutions from the eastern dustcarts of Moldova will be able to cross the border through the common Moldovan-Ukrainian border crossing points without being subject to the economic policy measures was extended until June 30 this year, on condition that the goods remain on the territory that is not controlled by the constitutional bodies. A decision to this effect was taken by the Government on January 27, IPN reports.

Tatiana Ivanicichina, secretary of state at the Ministry of Finance, said viable solutions should be identified until June 30 in concert with the interested sides for registering the institutions from the eastern dustcarts of Moldova with the Public Services Agency. They will insist on the additional notification of Transnistrian business entities that didn’t register with the Agency of the obligation to register by the June 30, 2021 deadline.

Acting Prime Minister Aureliu Ciocoi said he will request the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Home Affairs to continue the dialogue with the Ukrainian side so as to advance the implementation of the final phase of the joint control on the central segment of the Moldovan-Ukrainian border starting with July 1, 2021.
