A man and a woman were injured in a powerful explosion in a house in Sângerei town in the evening of January 26. The body of a man was found under the debris after over two hours of searches, IPN reports.
According to the General Inspectorate for Emergencies, the explosion was reported to the 112 Service at about 5pm. Thirty-five rescuers and firefighters with ten special vehicles were dispatched to the scene.
The Inspectorate’s employees managed to save a woman aged 61 and a man aged 68, who were taken to the hospital in a conscious state. The body of a 63-year-old man, who went missing after the blast, was found as a result of the rescue operation.
The cause of the explosion is not yet known. The circumstances of the case are yet to be found out.
Several days ago, two persons were rushed to the hospital with traumas and burns they suffered in two blasts that occurred in Fălești district and in ATU Gagauzia.
