Three cars were involved in an accident that occurred on the R-20 road, near Sirota village of Orhei district, on Saturday. Following the impact, one person, while four others were hurt, IPN reports.
The General Police Inspectorate said that the collision involved a Renault, a Volkswagen and a Toyota. Preliminarily, it was established that the driver of the last car went the wrong way.
As a result, the driver of the Toyota car died on the spot, while four people were transported to the hospital with various injuries.
An investigation is underway to establish all the circumstances.
