One man died and four others were hurt in a serious road accident in Ștefan Vodă district, IPN reports.
The General Police Inspectorate said that the tragedy occurred on Thursday evening, at around 11:30 p.m., on the R-30 route, at the intersection with the access road to Cioburciu village.
Preliminarily, it was established that a car driven by a 29-year-old man changed lanes and collided with a minibus driven by a man aged 61.
The impact was so strong that the driver of the car died on the spot, while the driver of the minibus and his four passengers, all foreign citizens, were rushed to the hospital with injuries.
The police are to establish the exact circumstances of the road accident.
