Some 25% of the citizens of the municipality of Chisinau have been vaccinated against the novel coronavirus. In Chisinau, the pace of vaccinations is good, but the figures are yet modest. Thirty-two persons with SARS-CoV-2 are now hospitalized. Three pregnant women admitted to Maternity Hoopster No. 1 in Chisinau are suspected of having COVID-19, Boris Gîlca, deputy head of the General Social Assistance and Health Division of the Chisinau City Hall, stated in the ordinary meeting of officials of municipal services, IPN reports.

According to Boris Gîlca, there are 70 vaccination units working round-the-clock in the municipality. Mobile vaccination teams can be called through the family doctor to the homes of persons with disabilities and for immunization at the workplace. New lots of vaccine are expected to be delivered to Chisinau this week.

The persons who got a Sputnik-V vaccinate within the marathon at the Palace of the Republic on May 26 can get the second shot on July 17 at the same location, stated Boris Gîlca.
