The charges for public utilities in the Transnistrian region will be included in one bill. Such an amendment will come into force on January 1, 2014. There was created a common information center that will incorporate all the services, IPN reports.
According to “Novyi Region” Agency, four service providers already form part of the informational center. These are the public water, heat, gas and electricity utilities. The region’s administration said the initiative aims to ensure convenience as the end-users will no longer have to wait for bills from different providers.
Twenty-two branches of the information center will be set up in the region. The people there will be able to file applications for enjoying concessions on the payment of public utilities, to provide information about the persons living in the same house or apartment, and to ask for their meters to be checked.
Until 2014, the information center will be joined by the elevator maintenance and waste collection services.
