The new season of the Men’s Handball Super League of Ukraine gathered together six teams, including Moldova’s champion Olimpus-85, IPN reports.
In the first three stages played in Zaporozhye, Olimpus-85 suffered two defeats and won one victory.
The team from Chisinau lost to ZTR by 26-42 and to ZNTU-ZAS by 28-31. The only victory until now was scored in the math against ZTR-2, by 35-29.
This victory allowed the team sponsored by Anatol Pervanciuc to rank third after three stages. But two teams - Motor and Potrov – haven’t yet played matches this season.
Olimpus-85 also competed in Ukraine’s championship several years ago.
