Olimpus-85 has won a new title of handball champion on the field of PGU Tiraspol. The team from Chisinau won the last game of the stage by 25-22, IPN reports.

Olimpus closed the championship two points ahead of PGU and won thus gold the fifth time. The team will represent Moldova in the EHF European Cup 2016/17.

Alexandr Lupashko (PGU) and Artiom Moghilca (Olimpus) were named best scorers of the championship in the last derby march with nine and seven goals respectively.
