Olimpia manager promises 'radical changes'

Olimpia coach Valery Pogorelov has promised to produce radical changes at the Balti-based club, Info-Prim Neo reports. “I've talked to the leadership of the club about recruiting new players. It's no surprise that we currently rank fifth in the National Division with what we have now in the squad”, he said. Though keen to inject fresh blood into his team, Pogorelov declined to comment on the reasons why their best player of the previous season, Ghanaian Erik Sekey, fled the club without saying good-bye. Pogorelov's statements came following a Round 15 match on Sunday played by Olimpia away at Zimbru Chisinau, which they lost 3:0.
