The Kremlin already started the preparations for the upcoming aggression against Moldova, gordonua.com said, with reference to an article for Interfax-Ukraine signed by Oleksandr Lytvynenko, Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, IPN reports.

He noted that the war against Ukraine is perceived by the Kremlin as an important, but not the only front for Russia, which is actually waging a world war on the United States and the West as a whole.

According to the official, the preparations for the upcoming aggression against other countries are one of the tasks set by the Kremlin.

“The priority now is Moldova and the Baltic countries: Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia: the entire Western part of the former USSR, and the Kremlin has already begun this work. The reason is a violation of the rights of Russian speakers (primarily Latvia, Estonia). Moscow is already crying out about the oppression of Russian speakers in the Baltics and the right of peoples to self-determination,” wrote Lytvynenko.

He noted that after sending Russian spy diplomats, the Russians are actively infiltrating the countries of Europe, primarily Southern Europe, with their agents, creating businesses, etc. “There are signs that the infrastructure of subversive activities is being prepared for a great war (an approach tested during the Soviet era),” said the Ukrainian official.

The publication reminded that at the European Political Community Summit held in Chisinau, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Ukraine’s victory will prevent Putin from amplifying the aggression. If the aggressor state Russia manages to subdue Ukraine, the Kremlin will escalate towards other objectives, which is unacceptable, warned the President of Lithuania Gitanas Nauseda.
