Hungary hosted the first stage of the 2018 Canoe Slalom World Cup. Moldova’s Oleg Tarnovschi competed in the 1 000 m race and won a silver medal, IPN reports.
The Moldovan athlete scored the result of 3:47.283. He was oustripped by world and European champion Martin Fuksa of the Czech Republic, who won by 3:44.989.
Oleg Tarnovschi, 26, is of Ukrainian origin. He competed in the Rio Olympic Games where he finihsed 12th in the 200 m race.
