The fullback of Olympiakos and of the national football team of Moldova Oleg Ryabchuk was named the best footballer of Moldova in 2020. The 23-year-old player signed for the Greek team in winter, IPN reports.
Oleg Ryabchuk gained 165 votes and outstripped Alexandru Epureanu of Istanbul Basaksehir (86 votes) and Benevento halfback Artur Ioniță (78).
Lilian Popescu of Petrocub Hâncești won “the best coach” title.
The following players were named the best in the domestic competition: goalkeeper – Cristian Avram (Petrocub), fullback – Veaceslav Posmac (Sheriff), halfback – Maxim Mihaliov (Dinamo-Auto), striker – Frank Castaneda (Sheriff).
Natalia Muntean of Dinamo Minsk became the best female footballer.
