Old woman seriously injured in crosswalk accident

A woman aged 85 from the municipality of Chisinau was taken to the Emergency Hospital in a serious condition after she was struck by a car in a crosswalk on Dacia Blvd. on Friday morning. According to the traffic police, a Renault car stopped at the crosswalk when the old woman managed to cross a part of the street. An Audi coming from behind hit the Renault, which struck the woman when pushed forward. Contacted by Info-Prim Neo, Chisinau Ambulance Service managing doctor Anatol Proca said the woman was admitted to the reanimatology section in a traumatic shock and with multiple fractures and a concussion.
