Old lady survives electric shock

An elderly woman in Varzaresti village (Nisporeni), survived an electric shock after she came in contact with a power line in her backyard, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the Communications Department of the “Union Fenosa” Company in Moldova, the line was downed by a storm. The woman, aged 78, intended to weed out in her garden, grabbed the wire with her hand and was shocked. Her cries were heard by her neighbours that managed to pull out the wire from the woman’s hands with the hoe’s shank. The victim was hospitalised in the surgery section of the Nisporeni district hospital. At present her condition is satisfactory.
