Several oil companies informed the National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE) about the decision to reduce the selling prices of diesel fuel and liquefied petroleum gas starting with July 22, IPN reports, quoting a communiqué of the Agency.
According to specialists of the ANRE, one of the main reasons for such a decision is the appreciation of the Moldovan leu against the U.S. dollar.
The selling prices of oil products are set depending on the wholesale prices and costs related to the retailing of fuel in accordance with the National Accounting Standards. The profit margin is at most 10%.
