In the March 4 meeting of Chisinau City Hall officials, Mayor Dorin Chirtoaca presented pictures of full garbage bins and unauthorized waste dumps. “This is non-fulfillment of duties. The people pay garbage collection charges, by 5.60 lei for every cubic meter of waste,” said Dorin Chirtoaca. The pictures were taken during an inspection on March 3. The mayor said that after the third warning, the officials in charge risk being dismissed.
