MP Octavian Țîcu, who heads the National Unity Party, said that society is in a state of uncertainty following the declaring of a state of emergency for two months, IPN reports.
“The Government does not come with an encouragement message: “We hope to solve in a shorter period of time”. What does the Government do? It says that there will be 60 days that for a business entity, a salary earner, a student mean an epoch, but they have to pay salaries, taxes, loans. It is considering this period of 60 days,” Octavia Țîcu stated in the program “Emphasis on today” on TVR Moldova channel.
The MP noted the Government should have laid emphasis on 30 days so as to encourage society. This period of 60 days generated particular suspicions in society.
“Society wonders what the purpose of declaring a state of emergency was if the Government pushes us towards a period of uncertainty for 60 days with increased powers.”
Octavian Țîcu said a state of emergency should have been declared much earlier, but the move was delayed owing to the negotiations between the PDM and PSRM and the replacements made in the Cabinet.
