The so-called package agreement with the Transnistrian leader, about which Igor Dodon speaks, shows that this borrowed the docile language of ex-negotiator of Tiraspol for the Transnistrian settlement process Nina Shtanski after he was elected President of Moldova, considers expert on the Transnistrian issue Oazu Nantoi.
Contacted by IPN, the analyst said that as a matter of fact, there are no problems between the sides of the Nistru, as there are no problems between Tiraspol city and Chisinau city. There is only one unresolved conflict between Moldova and Russia because Russia is the only state that has defied the sovereignty, territorial integrity and permanent neutrality status of Moldova during 25 years.
Oazu Nantoi also said that Igor Dodon, by meeting with Vadim Krasnoselski whom he described as the legitimate leader of the Transnistrian region, contributes to the legalization of a regime of Russian marionettes. “We should not forget that according to the information provided by journalists, the meeting was organized through the agency of Moscow, between the Russian puppet in Chisinau Igor Dodon and the Russian puppet in Tiraspol Vadim Krasnoselski,” stated the expert.
“If we look at the resolution of the Congress of the Party of Socialists of December 18, which univocally envisions Moldova’s federalization, and Igor Dodon didn’t distance himself from this resolution, I cannot understand what the final solution to the conflict is and, if meeting with Vladimir Putin, Igor Dodon will resolutely demand that the Russian troops should be pulled out from the territory of the Republic of Moldova,” stated Oazu Nantoi.
According to him, the people are witnessing a cheap provincial show and we will yet see to what extent Igor Dodon is Moldova’s President. “For now, if we look at what happened today, he is not the President of Moldova, but rather an agent of influence of Russia,” said Oazu Nantoi.
President Igor Dodon, after the meeting with the Transnistrian leader Vadim Krasnoselski on January 4, said they agreed to adopt a package approach to the problems existing in the Moldovan-Transnistrian relations. Thus, expert-level meetings will be held during the next few weeks. They will recommend the Government to contact those from the left side of the Nistru, because there are functional mechanisms in this regard, so that the package approach agreed by the sides and supported in the 5+2 format is accepted as a basis and signed at the level of leaders and concrete steps are taken by both of the sides.
