The police arrested a nurse of the Balti Pneumo-Ftiziological Dispensary. According to the General Police Inspectorate, the suspect, who is responsible for the inclusion of working hours in the timesheet, asked for 500 to 1,000 lei from medical assistants and nurses for including additional hours in the timesheet, which weren’t worked in reality, IPN reports.
The woman was arrested in her office shortly after she took 735 lei from a nurse. A number of employees of this institution have suffered as a result of the suspect’s acts.
The woman faces a fine of 10,000 to 20,000 lei or two to six years in jail for appropriation by using her position. In both of the cases, she will be banned from holding particular posts or performing particular activities for a period of up to five years.
