Between January and September, the number of public authorities and institutions using the Integrated Accounting Information System for Public Authorities on the 1C platform increased by 15.7%, compared to the end of 2018. The current number of users is 997. The data was presented in a press release by the Center of Information Technology in Finance (CTIF), which is the institution that manages the system.
According to the data provided by the Information Systems Support Department in the field of public finances within the CTIF, out of the 635 system beneficiaries, 76 work in the municipality of Chișinău, while 559 are regional institutions. Another 362 beneficiaries are served by IT companies which are contracted by CTIF in order to provide similar services.
Since the beginning of the year, the specialists of the department have offered system users over 12.7 thousand consultations, averaging 1.4 thousand consultations per month. The 559 entities outside Chișinău that use the system are 14 district councils, 17 finance departments, 244 city halls, 226 educational institutions and 58 public institutions.
The 1C platform Integrated Accounting Information System for Public Authorities ensures the automation of accounting records of activities managed by public authorities and institutions. After being adjusted by the CTIF to the plan of accounts and to the new budget classification, the system is the only integrated program that contains all the necessary modules for accounting record keeping and communication with the information systems of the Ministry of Finance, the State Tax Service and the National Social Security Office.
