November 22 is last day for checking voter lists

November 22 is the deadline by which the people can verify the election registers at polling places to see if they are on them. Under the Election Code, the updating of the voter lists stops five days before the elections. Iurie Ciocan, the secretary of the Central Election Commission, has told Info-Prim Neo that all the lists have been compiled within the required terms. The precinct electoral bureaus of the polling places are obliged to make the lists available by November 22 inclusive. As many as 2,037 polling places have been established in Moldova for the November 28 elections, plus 75 abroad. The Transnistrian residents can vote at 21 polling places, three of which are in Chisinau. They will be written in additional lists.
