Notices for paying the real estate tax for this year began to be distributed in Chisinau municipality, the Chisinau City Hall has said. The tax can be paid with the payment notice directly at post offices and banks or through the governmental electronic payment service www.mpay.gov.md. Those who have a digital/mobile signature can use the website www.servicii.fisc.md/fisaimobilului.aspx, IPN reports.
The taxpayers can benefit from a 15% reduction in the tax if they pay this fully by June 30 this year. The concession applies only to the payers who do not have debts. The real estate tax can be paid fully or in equal parts until August 15 and October 15 respectively. A penalty of 0.0329% for each day of delay is imposed if the tax is not paid.
Pensioners benefit from exemption from paying the real estate tax based on Art. 283 of the Tax Code.
