Not all classrooms from Chisinau schools may got repaired in time

The reparation of the Chisinau schools runs the risk not to end till the beginning of the new scholar year. Officials from the Education general Direction say new entities needing repair have appeared, as broken roofs, Info-Prim Neo reports. Gheorghe Suceveanu, a vice direction of the Education Direction, says the required tenders have been unfolded, as now they sign contracts with the winning companies. “We hope they will start the repair works within two weeks,” Gheorghe Suceveanu told the last sitting of the City Hall. He says a reason why the works may not end as due is the fact that the budget does not provide for repairing roofs, which broke after the document had been adopted. “We are working out a notification for the Municipal Council to allocate additional money or to change the units envisaged to be repaired,” Gheorghe Suceveanu said. General Mayor Dorin Chirtoaca suggested it was not a good idea not to finish the reparations in time. “It is the quality that matters, the rest can be solved out,” he said.
